Full Mistakes

A full mistake is a major error that affects the accuracy of the transcription.

  • Omission of a word. Multiple omitted words count as multiple mistakes.
  • Substituting a wrong word.
  • Adding an extra word, figure, or symbol not in the dictated passage.
  • Repeating a word.
  • Writing incomplete words.
  • Leaving out words from the passage.
  • Using abbreviations instead of full words, or vice versa.

Half Mistakes

A half mistake is a minor error that affects readability but not the overall meaning.

  • Misspelling a word.
  • Using singular instead of plural, or vice versa.
  • Missing a full stop at the end of a sentence or placing it incorrectly.
  • Not capitalizing the first letter of a sentence.

Files and Text Recognition:

It is recommended to upload files in PDF format for better text extraction accuracy. However, images in JPEG and PNG formats are also supported.

The system uses OCR (Optical Character Recognition) technology, the quality of the extracted text depends on the clarity of the file. If the image is not completely legible, errors may occur during the conversion process.
